With more than seventy publications in India to her name, she has received both the Bangiya Sahitya Parishad literary prize as well as the Padmashri Prize from the President of India. Carolyne Wright is a poet, translator, and essayist. She has written eight books and chapbooks of poetry and an investigative memoir about her experiences in Chile during Salvador Allende’s presidency.
