Joanne Diaz received her MFA from New York University and her PhD from Northwestern University. Her poetry has appeared in AGNI, 32 Poems, American Poetry Review, The Greensboro Review, Prairie Schooner, Quarterly West, and The Southern Review, and she is the recipient of an Illinois Arts Council fellowship and a 2009 fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. She is an assistant professor of English at Illinois Wesleyan University. (updated 6/2009)
