Pharaoh

Rick Barot is the author of several books of poetry, including Moving the Bones (Milkweed, 2024), and The Galleons (Milkweed, 2020) which was longlisted for the National Book Award. His work has appeared in Poetry, The New Republic, The Adroit Journal, AGNI, The New Yorker, and elsewhere. He has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Stanford University. He lives in Tacoma, Washington, and directs The Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University. (updated 10/2024)
