Carlos M. Piocos III is the author of two poetry collections: Corpus (2010) and Kung ang Siyudad ay Pag-ibig (2019). The former gathers his poems from his Corpus and Guerra Cantos cycles, which won first prize for poetry in Filipino during the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards in, respectively, 2007 and 2010. He’s a professor of literary and cultural studies in the Department of Literature of De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines; an associate for poetry and cultural studies at the Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center; and managing editor of Akda: The Asian Journal of Literature, Culture, Performance. (updated 4/2024)

Ethan Chua (any pronouns) is a Chinese-Filipino spoken word poet, comic book writer, community organizer, and scholar-activist. Their first chapbook, Sky Ladders (Bull City Press, 2023), won the Frost Place / Bull City Press chapbook contest, and their graphic novel, Doorkeeper (Summit Books, 2017), is available in Philippine bookstores.
