Danielle Legros Georges is an essayist, translator, and the author of a book of poems, Maroon (Curbstone Press, 2001). Her awards for writing include MacDowell Colony and LEF fellowships, and the PEN New England Discovery Award. She is an associate professor at Lesley University. (updated 6/2010)
