Whitney Collins’s debut story collection, Big Bad (Sarabande Books, 2021), won the Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction. She is also the recent winner of a Pushcart Prize and the American Short(er) Fiction Prize. Her stories have appeared in Slice, Shenandoah, AGNIGrist, New Ohio Review, the Catapult anthology Tiny Nightmares, and elsewhere. She lives in Kentucky. (updated 4/2021)
