Excommunicados

Charles Haverty’s stories have appeared in AGNI, The Gettysburg Review, One Story, Ecotone, Colorado Review, New Ohio Review, and elsewhere. His story “Crackers” (from AGNI 60) was shortlisted for an O. Henry Prize in 2006, and his story “Excommunicados” (from AGNI 68) received special mention in the 2010 Pushcart Prize anthology. His collection Excommunicados won the 2015 John Simmons Short Fiction Award and will be published in fall by the University of Iowa Press. He lives in Lexington, Massachusetts. (updated 1/2015)
