Villanelle

Peter Cooley is the author of nine books, most recently Night Bus to the Afterlife (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2014). Recently his poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The New England Review, The Southern Review, AGNI, Plume, and elsewhere. He is Senior Mellon Professor in the Humanities at Tulane University.
