Meng Lang was born in Shanghai, has edited several poetry periodicals in Shanghai, and has published a collection of his poems. (updated 1991)

Ginny MacKenzie is the author of the poetry collections Skipstone (The Backwaters press, 2003) and By Morning (Coyote Press, 1984), as well as the editor of New York/Beijing: A Poetry Anthology (Coyote Press, 1987). Her work has appeared in such literary journals as The Iowa Review, AGNI, Pequod, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. She currently lives in New York City. (updated 7/2010)

Wei Guo is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at Columbia University. He translated the American poems in the anthology New York/Beijing. (updated 1991)
