Javier Zamora was born in El Salvador and migrated to the U.S. when he was nine. A winner of the Barnes & Noble Writer for Writer’s Award, he has received fellowships from CantoMundo, Colgate University, the MacDowell Colony, the NEA, and Yaddo.
