Charlie Smith is a poet and novelist who has published over fifteen books, five of which were chosen as New York Times Notable Books. He has won prizes including the Levinson Prize from Poetry, the Aga Khan Prize for Fiction from The Paris Review, and grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, the NEA, and the New York Foundation for the Arts.
