Randall Jarrell (1914–1965) was the eleventh Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress and his The Woman at the Washington Zoo won the National Book Award in 1960. His Complete Poems was published in 1981 by Farrar, Straus & Giraux.
