Nicolae Dabija is the editor of the Moldovan newspaper Literatur si Arta. Along with many volumes of poetry, Mr. Dabija has written books on medieval monasteries, the history of religion in Moldova, and a biography of the Moldovan national hero, Stephen the Great. (updated 1997)
