Awake

Paja Faudree grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, though she also lived in Scotland and Hungary. She has been a nomad after completing her M.F.A. in poetry and playwrighting at Brown. Her philosophy background and her experiences in biological and medical labs are among her strongest influences. This is her first appearance in a literary journal. (updated 1993)
