Edoardo Sanguineti

Edoardo Sanguineti (1930–2010) is widely considered one of the most important Italian poets of the twentieth century. His critical and creative output is closely linked to the literary avantgarde of the 1950s–70s. He was also an active member of the Italian Communist Party. His books of poetry include Segnalibro: Poesie 1951-1981Il Gatto Lupesco: Poesie 1982-2001, and Mikrokosmos:Poesie 1951-2004 (all published by Feltrinelli).

Will Schutt

Will Schutt is the 2012 Yale Series of Younger Poets winner for his collection Westerly (chosen by Carl Phillips). He has also received awards from the Academy of American Poets, the Stadler Center for Poetry, and the James Merrill house. His poems and translations have recently appeared in AGNI, A Public Space, Harvard Review, FIELD, The Southern Review, and elsewhere. (updated 3/2012)
