Magdalena Tulli
Magdalena Tulli is one of the leading new writers of Central and Eastern Europe. She is the author of four books, the most recent of which is Blemish (a working title for the translation), published in Polish in 2006. The English translation will be brought out by Archipelago Books later this year. Archipelago has also published two previous translations of Tulli’s work: Dreams and Stones (2004), which won Poland’s prestigious Koscielski Prize, and Moving Parts (2005). She lives in Warsaw.
