Arturo Vivante wrote more than seventy short stories for The New Yorker. He also had articles and stories appearing in The Southern Review, London Magazine, AGNI, The New York Times, and elsewhere. He was the author of three novels as well as five short-story collections and a book of poetry. (updated 7/2010)
