Concision: A Sprawl
George Estreich is nonfiction editor of AGNI and has been part of the editorial team since 2024. His books include the Oregon Book Award–winning memoir The Shape of the Eye (TarcherPerigee, 2011) and Fables and Futures: Biotechnology, Disability, and the Stories We Tell Ourselves (MIT Press, 2019), which NPR’s Science Friday named a Best Science Book of 2019. He is also coeditor, with Rachel Adams, of Alison Piepmeier’s posthumously published Unexpected: Parenting, Prenatal Testing, and Down Syndrome (New York University Press, 2021). He lives in Corvallis, Oregon, where he teaches in the MFA program at Oregon State University. (updated 1/2024)
