Sandra Brewster is a Canadian visual artist based in Toronto. Her work has been featured in a solo exhibition entitled Blur at the Art Gallery of Ontario (2019–2020). The daughter of Guyanese-born parents, she is the recipient of the Toronto Friends of the Visual Arts Artist Prize, and her exhibition It’s all a blur . . . received the Gattuso Prize for outstanding featured exhibition at the CONTACT Photography Festival. Brewster has been invited to present solo exhibitions at Optica, Montreal; The Art Gallery of Guelph; Or Gallery, Vancouver; YYZ Artists’ Outlet, Toronto; and elsewhere. Her work has been included in recent group exhibitions at Art Gallery of London; The Rooms in Newfoundland and Labrador; Mercer Union, Prefix Gallery, and the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto; Mamuzic Gallery in Novi Sad, Serbia; Arsenal Habana in Cuba; LagosPhoto Festival in Nigeria; and Musée des beaux-arts in Montreal.
