AGNI 93, with its unsettling cover and art portfolio by Deepa Jayaraman, channels the mood of the times. The issue includes poetry by Rafael Campo, Hope Wabuke, and others; fiction by Sara Majka, Jamie Figueroa, and Anzhelina Polonskaya (translated by Andrew Wachtel); and an utterly sui generis essay by Gregory Paul Caicco. Variety and intensity are the hallmark—we celebrate the wresting of meaning from loss and distress.
