Mary MorrisĀ is the author of eight books. Her most recent novel, House Arrest, was published in the spring of 1995 by Doubleday. She has been the recipient of a Guggenheim and the Rome Prize in Literature. Morris teaches at Sarah Lawrence College and lives in Brooklyn, New York. (1996)
