Andra Neiburga
Andra Neiburga studied to be a visual artist, but gained immediate public attention with her first book of short stories, published in Latvia in 1988 under the title Stuffed Birds and Caged Birds. She lives in Riga with her husband, an artist-poet, and her daughter. (updated 1990)
