Mariela Dreyfus

Mariela Dreyfus, a Peruvian writer, is the author of six poetry collections, all included in the single volume Gravedad: Poemas reunidos (New York: Artepoética Press, 2017). Her most recent translation is C. D. Wright’s Tiempo de enfriamiento: Una vigilia poética estadounidense (Madrid: Libros de la Resistencia, 2019). She is associate director of the MFA in Creative Writing in Spanish at New York University, where she also teaches workshops in poetry and literary translation. (updated 4/2022)

Carmen Giménez

Carmen Giménez is the author, most recently, of the poetry collection Be Recorder (Graywolf Press, 2019), a finalist for the National Book Award in Poetry, the PEN Open Book Award, the Audre Lorde Award for Lesbian Poetry, and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. Her forthcoming collection, Nostalgia Has Such a Short Half-Life, will be published by Graywolf Press in 2023. A 2019 Guggenheim fellow and winner of the 2020 Academy of American Poets Fellowship Prize, she is professor of English at Virginia Tech. She has served as publisher of Noemi Press for twenty years. zachary payne

zachary payne is the author of three poetry collections, most recently Beyond Heroin (Hesterglock Press, 2020). He has translated, from and into Spanish, the work of Rafael Cadenas, Pablo Guevara, Leopoldo Maria Panero, and the Beat poet Bob Kaufman.
