In Connection with Loneliness

Marie Lundquist was born in 1950 in Jönköping, Sweden, and teaches writing classes for both children and adults. Winner of several Nordic literary prizes, she has published four collections of poetry and prose poetry, including In Place of Memory (Bonniers, 1997). Of her style, she says it “is a language with the help of which one can form a story but still keep the story’s mystery itself unsaid.”

Christophe Brunski is a writer and translator. He writes in English, French, and Swedish, and has published two English-language books, Monnet Saal (Author’s Choice Press, 2001) and The Sea-Glass Chronicles (Xlibris, 2000). (updated 6/2010)
