Charles Bernstein is a poet, editor, and literary theorist. He has published over forty books ranging from full-length poetry and essay collections to translations, collaborations, and libretti. He was the editor of the magazine L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E, and is currently editor of PENNsound at the University of Pennsylvania and the Modern and Contemporary Poetics book series from the University of Alabama Press.
