Alice Anderson
Alice Anderson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but grew up in California and Mississippi. She continued moving on her own-to New York, Paris, Geneva, Milan, and Osaka—and has stopped for the time being in New York. She’s also moved around the arts—opera, jazz, piano, violin, ballet—but has found poetry the most expressive medium. Her poem in AGNI 37, along with a forthcoming appearance in New York Quarterly, marks her first publication. (updated 1993)
