Our Last Stand

Valerie Sayers is the author of six novels, most recently The Powers (Northwestern University Press, 2013). Her stories, essays, and reviews have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Zoetrope, AGNI, Witness, and elsewhere. Among her honors are a fiction fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and two Pushcart Prizes. She teaches at University of Notre Dame. (updated 10/2018)
