Paula Köhlmeier
Paula Köhlmeier (1982–2003) was an Austrian author of short stories, screenplays, and novels. In 2002 she received the Literary Fellowship of the State of Vorarlberg. In summer 2003, she died tragically in a hiking accident. “Diary of a Madwoman” is one of the forty-seven short stories in her collection Maramba, published posthumously by Paul Zsolnay Verlag.
