Amanda P. Swain received her B.F.A. in photojournalism from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 1991. Among the projects she is working on is a photographic documentary of aboriginal and white Australian culture, for which the Polaroid Corporation awarded a substantial grant. (updated 1993)
