Shangyang Fang

Shangyang Fang is a poet, translator, and academic from Chengdu, China. He writes poetry in English and Chinese. He is the author of two collections of original poetry, Burying the Mountain (2021) and Bastard of Elsewhere (2027), and a book of translation from the Chinese, Study of Sorrow (2025), all published by Copper Canyon Press. He is currently an Assistant Professor of English at Wesleyan University.
