Reyes Ramirez (he/him) is a writer and curator of Mexican and Salvadoran descent. He’s the author of the story collection The Book of Wanderers (University of Arizona Press, 2022), finalist for New York Public Library’s 2023 Young Lions Fiction Award, and the poetry collection El Rey of Gold Teeth (Hub City Press, 2023). His latest curatorial project, The Houston Artist Speaks Through Grids, explores the use of grids in contemporary Houston art, literature, history, and politics. He works as an educator and organizer in Houston, Texas. (updated 4/2024)
