Kamalakar Bhat has published three collections of poems in Kannada. His own translations of Kannada poems and short stories have appeared in Indian Literature, Muse India, and Prologue. His translations from English to Kannada have appeared in Kannada magazines. He teaches in the postgraduate department of English at Ahmednagar College in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.
