Harry Morales was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, and was raised in New York City. He is the author of Sleepwalkers of Atlantis and The Suit and Skirt Farm, and of a new English translation of Benedetti’s La Trequa (The Diary of Martin Santomé: A Novel). His translations have appeared in various journals. He has also recently completed the English translation of essays which comprise The Oxford Book of Latin American Essays (Oxford University Press).
