The Refugee

Vijay Seshadri was born in Bangalore, India, in 1954 and five years later immigrated to the United States with his family. He has published two volumes of poetry: The Long Meadow (Graywolf Press, 2005), winner of the James Laughlin Award, and Wild Kingdom (Graywolf, 1996). (updated 7/2010)
