Stewart Patrick is a research associate at the Center on International Cooperation at New York University, where he is also an adjunct professor of political science. He is the co-editor of the forthcoming Multilateralism and U.S. Foreign Policy (Lynne Rienner Publishers, 2001). He will spend 2002 in Washington, D.
