Stephanie Ellis Schlaifer is the author of the poetry collection Cleavemark (BOAAT Press, forthcoming 2016). She is an artist and freelance editor in St. Louis, Missouri, where she co-curates the Observable Readings series. Her poems have appeared in Verse, Colorado Review, Cimarron Review, Fence, Verse Daily, and elsewhere. She has been a finalist for the Colorado Prize for Poetry, the Tupelo Press First/Second Book Award, and the Beatrice Hawley Award from Alice James Books, among others. (updated 6/2015)
