Shauna Barbosa is the author of the poetry collection Cape Verdean Blues (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2018), a finalist for the 2019 PEN Open Book Award. Her poems have appeared in The Virginia Quarterly Review, AGNI, and Lit Hub, on the Poetry Society of America website and PBS Newshour, and elsewhere.
