Rocío Franco
Rocío Franco is a self-identified Chicana warrior poet whose work has appeared in The Acentos Review, AGNI, Chicago Reader, Newcity Magazine, Lunch Ticket, and elsewhere. She’s received fellowships from Periplus Collective, Roots Wounds Words, and The Watering Hole, and her poetry has been supported by the Frost Place Conference, Voices of Our Nations (VONA), and Tin House Summer Workshop. She lives in Chicago and works full-time as a health insurance advocate at a union health fund. (updated 4/2024)
