Robert O. Greer, Jr., is the founder and current editor of The High Plains Literary Review. A professor of pathology, medicine, surgery, and dentistry at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, he has focused his research on tobacco’s link to lung cancer, which was the inspiration for his novel The Devil’s Hatband (Frog Books, 2004).
