Mikhail Rodionov

Mikhail Rodionov, born in Leningrad/ St. Petersburg in 1946, is a professor in the Oriental Department at St. Petersburg State University and head of the Asian section at the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, the oldest museum in Russia. A disciple of Anatoly Mariengoff and Anna Akhmatova, he did not publish his poetry until after the fall of the Communist regime.
