M. R. Doty is a pseudonym of Mark Doty and Ruth Doty, under which they published three collections of poetry, An Alphabet (Alembic, 1979), An Introduction to the Geography of Iowa (Great Raven Press, 1979), and The Empire of Summer (Thunder City Press, 1981). (updated 6/2021)
