Lucy Sweeney Byrne is the author of the debut story collection Paris Syndrome (Banshee Press, 2019), shortlisted for the Kate O’Brien Award, the John McGahern Annual Book Prize, and the Edge Hill Prize, among others. Her fiction, essays, reviews, and poetry have appeared in Banshee, The Dublin Review, The Stinging Fly, AGNI, Grist, and elsewhere.
