Lucy Sweeney Byrne
Lucy Sweeney Byrne is the author of the debut story collection Paris Syndrome (Banshee Press, 2019), shortlisted for the Kate O’Brien Award, the John McGahern Annual Book Prize, and the Edge Hill Prize, among others. Her fiction, essays, reviews, and poetry have appeared in Banshee, The Dublin Review, The Stinging Fly, AGNI, Grist, and elsewhere. Her second story collection, Let’s Dance, will be published by Banshee Press in 2024. She lives in Belfast. (updated 10/2023)
