Laurie Sheck
Laurie Sheck is the author of numerous collections of poetry, including Captivity (Knopf, 2007) and The Willow Grove (Knopf, 1996), which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. She has been the recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Ingram Merrill Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts. She currently lives in New York City and teaches in the MFA program at the New School. (updated 6/2010)
