Janiru Liyanage is a seventeen-year-old student and poet. His work has appeared in such journals as The Rumpus, The Harvard Advocate, The Australian, AGNI, and The Slowdown, and was longlisted for the 2020 Frontier Industry Prize. He is co-founder and editor, with Munira Tabassum Ahmed, of Hyades Magazine. Born to Sinhalese immigrants, he lives in Australia. (updated 10/2022)
