Huang Fan

Huang Fan, born in the rural Hubei province, is the author of three books of poetry, four novels, a story collection, and a volume of essays. His poem “Middle Age” was included in the anthology One Hundred Poems for One Hundred Years of Modern Poetry, and his novel The Eleventh Commandment was serialized in Sina.com.cn’s literary section. He has won, among his many awards, the Good Poetry Prize, the Beijing Literary Prize for Poetry, the Jinling Literary Prize for Poetry, and the Writer’s Golden Prize for the Short Story.
