Dzevad Karahasan is a Bosnian writer and dramatist. He fled from Sarajevo in 1993 and currently resides in Austria. His memoir Sarajevo, Exodus of a City (Kodansha America, 1994) was translated into English by Slobodan Draculic. (updated 7/2010)
