Diego Báez

Diego Báez is the author of Yaguareté White (University of Alabama Press, 2024), a a finalist in the 2024 Chicago Review of Books Awards and Chicago Reader‘s Best New Poetry Collection of 2024. As noted by Rigoberto González, Diego is the “first Paraguayan American poet to publish a book originally in English in the United States.” He lives in Chicago and teaches at the City Colleges.
