Daisy Fried

Daisy Fried is the author of four books of poetry, including The Year the City Emptied: After Baudelaire (Flood Editions, 2022) and Women’s Poetry: Poems and Advice (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2013). She has been awarded a Hodder Fellowship, a Pew Fellowship, and a grant from the Guggenheim Foundation. Poetry editor of Scoundrel Time and an occasional poetry critic for The New York Times and Poetry, she teaches creative writing at Warren Wilson College and the University of the Arts and lives in Philadelphia.
