Carol Muske-Dukes
Carol Muske-Dukes’s most recent poetry collection, Blue Rose (Penguin Books, 2018), was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. She is the author of sixteen books of poetry, novels, and essays. A former poet laureate of California, she founded the PhD program in creative writing and literature at University of Southern California, where she recently retired after many years as professor of creative writing and English.
