Seamus Heaney broadside

A limited-edition, 10 1/2″ x 18″ broadside of Seamus Heaney’s “Saw Music,” first published in AGNI 61. The broadside was designed by Shawna Parker and Wyn Cooper of Green River Press, hand-printed with Ed Rayher of Swamp Press, andthe poem appears in Heaney’s most recent collection, District and Circle. The Irish poet, who won the Nobel Prize in 1995, wrote “Saw Music” to memorialize his friend Czeslaw Milosz, the 1980 Nobel Laureate, who died in his hometown of Krakow, Poland, in 2004.
